The first day of Copenhagen Games is now officially behind us, as the male CS:GO qualifier has come to an end.

After the group stage had presented quite a few surprises, the Round of 32 featured some interesting contests, with Marcus "Delpan" Larsson's Alchemists taking on Lemondogs, Quantic Gaming meeting Karont3 and Temp.no tackling Heroic.

When Alchemists managed to take 12 rounds from Lemondogs on de_mirage_csgo, it looked like this would be an interesting affair, but Simon "twist" Eliasson's side turned in a world-class display on de_inferno_se to win the second map 16-5 and the tie.

Temp.no seem to be more determined than ever after two of their players were banned from 4PL for cheating as they moved past Heroic, who boast players like Magnus "JOKERN" Barthel and Nicolai "device" Reedtz, and settled the tie on just two maps (16-10 on de_mirage_go, 16-14 on de_dust2_se).

Delpan's Alchemists fell short against Lemondogs

As expected, Quantic were far too hot for Karont3 to handle, with the ESEA North American champions beating the Spaniards 16-4 on de_inferno_se and 16-10 on de_dust2_se.

On the other end of the bracket, ESC Gaming easily disposed of Danish side Evokate, losing just five rounds on de_mirage_go and seven on de_nuke_se.

The following 16 teams have secured entry into Copenhagen Games' main tournament via the qualifiers:
